Teesdale Education Trust
Teesdale Education Trust is a non-formal education branch of Teesdale School, staffed by specialist youth workers and volunteers. Extended services offers a range of youth activities to young people aged 11-25 in the area, including sporting, artistic and cultural activities. The aim is to provide opportunities for young people, including the unemployed and those who did not succeed in formal education, to experience new activities, to develop their interests and skills, by working together. The ethos is to encourage young people to plan their own programmes and to take on leadership roles. Extended Services combats this lack of opportunity and the danger of isolation of those living in this rural area through the activities and opportunities it offers, many of which are in partnership with other Youth focussed organisations including TCR (Teesdale Community Resources), YMCA, Turrets (a youth drama group), UTAS (Upper Teesdale Agricultural Services) and others.

Civic Association Kopriva
Civic Association Kopriva in Bulgaria was founded in 2009 on a citizens initiative led by several inhabitants of Koprivshtitsa. The need for this NGO stemmed from the degradation of the beauty and riches of the surrounding nature through logging and potato based agriculture. We decided to act and we created an association to change things gently by teaching the younger generations to respect nature and to think differently. Influencing adults is more difficult so we are trying to create a positive approach via their children. For the past few years, our experts have been organised all sorts of events and activities. In addition to all the eco-activities (recycle&reuse workshops, nature cleaning events, planting trees, creation of original eco-information boards, etc.), we have organised a range of cultural events. The Kopriva Centre is a unique eco-friendly construction, built using straw bales and mud with the help of more than 100 local and international volunteers.

Global Environment Organisation
Global Environment Organisation, GEO, in Turkey unites the efforts of civil society activists, institutions and media to raise public awareness of contemporary environmental challenges in Turkey and Europe. It aims to develop cross-border partnerships with interested stakeholders and reach a sustainable output by integrating the “green” topics on top of everyone’s agenda. One of the aspects of nature devastation today is related to migration. Therefore, migration is also an area in which GEO works actively to mitigate the effect of the migration on nature. Examples of related activities include:
• The Life in the Dreams, 2012, Youth in Action, Burdur / Turkey as a participant
• Green Light for Europe, 2012, Youth in Action, Denizli / Turkey as a participant
• Ecological Youth Camps in Lisinia Natural Habitat and Rehabilitation Center, Turkey as a host
The aforesaid gives light to our targets that we developed in transnational teams of European and Turkish young people.www.geo.org.tr

Global Citizen
Global Citizen in Denmark is an online platform focusing on sustainable economic growth. Global Citizen contains more than 2.000 topics relating to globalisation and sustainability and one of our key focus points is developing the networks that are necessary in order to deal with the challenges and possibilities that globalisation bring.
Our Network currently spans over more than 300 students in 25 countries and we have a strong track record in activating young people within areas such as environmental challenges in both a European and global context.
In the first weekend of June 2012, Global Citizen hosted the high visibility event "The Great Debate - Solutions by Re-thinking", in connection to the Danish EU Presidency. We gathered 400 actors from civil society, politics, academia and business, and they spent the weekend developing concrete solutions to the challenges we face towards 2050
